Essay on The Book Magnetic Mountains, history homework help
I need some to write me a two page essay on the book magnetic mountains. Here is the direction!! During this unit on the Russian Revolution, we have read Stephen Kotkin’s, Magnetic Mountain.
For this assignment, you will write an approximately 600 word reflection paper (about 2 full pages, double-spaced, font-size 12, Times New Roman with 1 inch margins all around). You must use – and display an understanding of – at least 5 of the chapters, paying attention to Kotkin’s argument and how the evidence he cites, as well as his tone, vocabulary, and writing support his message(s). Please pay attention to what was being attempted at Magnitogorsk, how it reflected authorities’ vision for a revolution, and how it effected everyday individuals. Furthermore, you must reflect on how the book informs your understanding, and by extension, historians’ understanding, of Stalinism and the Russian Revolution.
Please upload the assignment to Canvas by the start of class, i.e., 12:30 pm, on October 12. Late submissions will receive lower grades. Please see the syllabus for additional information on late submissions. If you have any problems with submitting the work via Canvas, please email me directly with a copy of your completed work before the deadline.
