history primary source analysis 5 pages gilded age

ASSIGNMENT Primary Source Analysis (15%)—During the weeks devoted to Reconstruction, the Gilded Age, and Progressive Era, be on the lookout for interesting terms, labor organizations, firms, laws, etc. mentioned in the readings. Then search the keyword(s) you have found in the database of historical immigrant and ethnic newspapers, the Chicago Foreign Language Press Survey (https://flps.newberry.org/). Once you have found at least two articles mentioning your search term, write a five-page essay interpreting the articles by placing them in context provided by the course readings.

NOTES: This is all the readings I have from the Gilded Age. It seemed like the most straight forward topic of the 3. These are the class readings. I think you would only need to skim them to find key terms to search on the newberry website.

ALSO: 5 pages, double spaced, works cited page (not part of the 5 pages); attach either links to the Newberry articles or downloads.
