Alexander the Great bestowed upon the civilized world the ideas and artifacts of Hellenic antiquity—a legacy that would come to be called “Classical.”

After some three hundred years, in 30 B.C.E., Hellenistic civilization came to an end, but the landmarks of Classicism—in drama, poetry, philosophy, music, and the visual arts—endured. In the centuries to follow, the creative achievements of the ancient Greeks would continue to inspire the cultures of the West, beginning with that of the great Roman Empire.

Based on readings 7 through 11 (that is, you will need to use the readings and quote the texts), explain how these readings reflect the classical legacies of Ancient Greece. You do not need to solely use the readings, but your response should be solidly based on these readings. In addition, bear in mind that your response does not need to cover all aspects of this legacy, but can/should focus on particular ideas, again, based on the readings. In a nutshell, you do not need to provide some historical account of Ancient Greece, but I need to read from you what you can infer from these readings, and what you understand, and interpret.
