For this assignment, you will examine constitutional protections for defendants before trial by providing a detailed analysis of the criminal justice process, from arraignment to setting a trial for a defendant. At a minimum, your paper must detail how a criminal charge is filed, the pre-trial process, the parties and players of the criminal justice process, and the defendant’s rights through pre-trial proceedings.
