Evidence Synthesis

In NUR 506, you conducted a brief literature review for your particular study. This was done in preparation for your IRB Proposal, to gain perspective in defining your study. In this module, we will explore the concept of systematic reviews or meta-analyses.  After reading Chapter 19, find one systematic review (or a meta-analysis) related to your topic.  If you need assistance in identifying a study, contact a librarian at Montgomery Library at (270) 789-5015.  Then, using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines found on pages 456-467, complete the electronic copy of the checklist provided in Module 3 for your use.  Complete this electronically—handwritten copies will not be accepted.  Upload the finalized copy into the assignment for the week.

 

My topic is over the emergency room registered nurses lived experience using a scanning EMR system and the effects of medication errors. Solely a qualitative study on how it affected the nurse and their thoughts rather than the number of medication errors. I have attached the document that will need to be filled out for this assignment as well as the book pages.
