Part 1: Inferential Statistical Analysis Methods

In this part of your assignment, you will examine three inferential statistical analysis methods that you could possibly use in your doctoral study/dissertation.

Note: SPSS and R are software not statistical analysis methods or statistical tests.

Include the components listed below in your analysis of each of the three methods.

  • Identify the statistical analysis method.
  • Examine the rationale for the use of the statistical analysis method How and why is the statistical analysis method used?
  • Describe a statistical test that could be used with the statistical analysis method. Defend your choice.

This part of your assignment should be at least two pages in length. Use at least three sources, one of which may be the eTextbook. Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.

Part 2: Ethical Problems

For this part of the assignment, read through the Belmont Report (attached) and closely examine Part B: Basic Ethical Principles.

Choose at least three ethical issues you might encounter while conducting your research. Address each of the components listed below:

  • Discuss how these ethical issues could become problematic in your research.
  • Explain how you would prevent the ethical issues from occurring.
  • Describe how you will ensure that your study does not breach ethical boundaries.

This part of your assignment should be at least three pages in length. Use the eTextbook, the Belmont Report, and at least one other source from the CSU Online Library. Adhere to APA style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that you use. Please note that no abstract is needed.
