Part One: Create a Professional and Ethical Plan
Construct a visual design to display a professional and ethical plan that includes the following specific elements:
- Integrate key components related to the principles of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), citing a case that advocates for student needs:
- Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE)
- Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
- Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Procedural Safeguards
- Assess at least three proactive strategies for conflict resolution.
- Classify the 12 standards in the CEC Code of Ethics into three sections to indicate your level of demonstration in your professional practice:

CEC Ethical Standards that I will introduce into my professional practice
- Develop a brief chronological timeline of at least four fundamental civil and legal principles, pivotal legislation, and/or social justice policies that contributed to current special education practices, including the date and name.

Part Two: Reflection and References
- Analyze in one to two paragraphs your plan of action to remain current in professional development, action research, and sharing EBP strategies in the field of special education.
