Research proposal IRB

We will use this week to begin to build your IRB proposal for submission to the Campbellsville University IRB.  Refer to p. 621-622 in your Burns & Grove text to identify special notes for student proposals.  Then, using the form provided by Campbellsville University IRB and gleaning information from the previous written assignments, complete the form and submit for review this week.  The information that you have accumulated in these assignments should direct you in answering the questions thoroughly.

Note:  As you complete the Application for IRB Approval:

Your instructor is listed as the “Primary Investigator”—this is common practice with university settings.

You are listed as the “Student Researcher.”

 Your instructor will review and give you feedback to enhance the document before submission to the IRB, and will sign as primary investigator upon finalization of the document.  When the document is ready for submission to the IRB, you will be directed to submit and will receive a grade for the document at that time.

 

I am also attaching my previous papers if needed for reference. My research is over “In the emergency department involving nursing staff, how does scanning medications prior to administration using EPIC EMR compared to not scanning medication on non-EPIC charting affect the number of medication errors using a quantitative study design?” this is my PICOS question.
