- Determine how social inequality may have contributed to civil unrest after a white police officer shot Michael Brown.
- Apply conflict theory to explain the aftermath of the Michael Brown case.
- Assess whether you believe conflict theory and/or critical criminological theory offer insight into effectively reducing social inequality as a cause of criminal behavior. Cite examples from your readings and the film that support your analysis.
