Some businesses require employees to use clear or see-through backpacks when carrying personal items. What other devices might not be allowed in certain facilities, and why would they be restricted? The video on Google’s Data Center may give you some ideas to write about for this assignment.

Your written assignment should consist of 2-3 paragraphs.

Finding Gaps in the Literature

In this week’s Discussion, you continue your search process and add another layer of investigation. The library search process is fundamental to developing your knowledge of our research area. Another crucial skill is being able to identify research gaps. As you review the articles you have found, consider which areas in the topic you are investigating have not been addressed adequately. As you consider possible gaps, try to identify those areas that are unexplored but are also feasible to pursue and also interesting to you and the scientific community engaged in this academic conversation.

To prepare for this Discussion:

  • Return to the Walden library and conduct a search using the same key words and terms you used in the Week 3 Discussion but include the words “literature review” or “systematic review” in your search. This will bring up reviews of the literature in the area.
  • Read two review articles related to your topic.
  • Consider: Can you identify what may constitute a gap in the literature?
  • Search in the library again and see if you find any studies that address the gap you have identified. If so, try again until you find what you consider a true gap and two articles related to the gap in some way.
  • Review Chapter 1, “The Dissertation” (p. 6), in the Stadtlander text.
  • Review the blog post “Defining a Gap in the Literature: On Proving the Presence of an Absence.”
  • Review the media piece Literature Reviews: Common Errors Made When Conducting a Literature Review.

Note: In Week 6, you will be using one of your review articles to create an Annotated Bibliography as part of the Final Assignment and to be posted in the Week 6 Discussion.

Post by Day 3 a description of:

  • How you went about your search this week
  • The keywords and terms used
  • The gap you identified and an explanation of why you believe it is a true gap

Term Paper

One term paper (6-8 pages, typed, double space) with notes (either MLA or Chicago Style), bibliography/list of references and images you discuss in your paper should also be attached separately. Students are expected to develop an issue related to the course material. Typical topics include studies of a single artist or a group of artists, a single artwork or a type of artwork, a specific art media, or a specific period of art, or a carefully delimited discussion about the development of a particular type of subject matter, within the time frame of 1840-2000. The grade will be based on the clarity of the presentation, the effectiveness of evidence presented, and the soundness of conclusions.

literature review for icloud

Okay working on this literature review, the topic is icloud. I have uploaded a dissertation which we are wanting to use as a reference. The organization we are using is a called imit Art, which is an Art organization. I have uploaded the initial paper we used from the a past class, it is an example of chapter 1 and am aware we will need to revise. If you need more time let me know and I will extend it.

I have submitted the paper in the past however the professor will not accept. I am giving you his feedback here.

Please get in touch with your personal email. Let’s find a time to talk. –Dr. E.

REVISED 11/19/19 – This paper provides a bit of background information, i.e. Cloud computing and data security. It also has a section Theory with some brief discussion – what is the source you are using to provide this theory/information? Design Components seems to identify some elements of data collection. But overall this is still very short of a good Ch. 1, Introduction. Follow the outline of content I provided below from the DBA Handbook. Also, you have not included any comments regarding how to use this Introduction to help you do research for Ch. 2. I am concerned about your progress and understanding regarding what is required. Let me know if you would like to talk. So I have modified the score on this assignment. You can move ahead or you can redo this again. A good SLP1 will help you as you do the SLPs.–Dr. E.

REVISED PAPER: Note: I am not concerned about your Similarity Scores in the SLP assignments.

This paper, Nov. 3, seems to be almost the same as the one you submitted on Oct. 25. Do you have a Ch. 1 that you created in your DOC650 class or that you previously developed? If not, then write one, and use it for this assignment. Let me know if you have any questions. –Dr. E.

ORIGINAL PAPER:You have not followed the assignment. Would you like to try again? Revise and resubmit and I will review and revise the score.

Here is the assignment:

During Module 1, you are expected to take the introduction to your project that you developed in your previous course, and annotate it to identify key areas in which literature will need to be searched and the other kinds of background information that you will need to develop in order to support your project.

Specifically, you are to:

Review your draft introduction that you developed previously. Using a copy of this introduction, develop an annotation for each paragraph in your introduction in which you identify various kinds of source material that might back up and justify the points made in the paragraph. Try to be as complete as you can. At this point, you do not need to describe specific sources; just the general kind of material you would like to search out in order to support your arguments.

strategic human resource partner

It is often stated that HR deals with the problem not the cause of the problem – please explain why this may or may not be true. 250-350 words, no cover page needed. Please limit the citations.

  • What is the difference between a person doing the daily operations of a human resource function versus the role of a strategic human resource partner?
  • At what level in the organization do you become strategic?
  • Compare and contrast the role of a strategic Human Resource Partner in a national and global organization.
