BUS 365 week 3 DQ 2

Week 3 – Discussion 2

Your initial discussion thread is due on Day 3 (Thursday) and you have until Day 7 (Monday) to respond to your classmates. Your grade will reflect both the quality of your initial post and the depth of your responses.

The   U.S. and Innovation

During most of the 20th Century, the United States was clearly recognized as an innovation leader with an emphasis on technological innovation.  Has that changed in the 21st Century?  Have other countries begun to overtake the US and wrest control of the technology leadership mantle? What factors could have influenced this shift if you think it exists? If you don’t think a technology shift has occurred, explain why you think that is the case. What policy change would you recommend to President Obama that would allow the US to retain/retake technology leadership into the next decade and beyond? Respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings.

Carefully review the Discussion Forum Grading Rubric for the criteria that will be used to evaluate this Discussion Thread.

nursing care for older adults week 7 discussion forum

Week 7 Discussion Forum
I would like for you to post a discussion on one innovative device or service that the elderly (age 80+) can use to help them with activities of daily living or improvement of quality of life. This can be an assistive device or service that helps them with self-care, hearing, vision, bathing, dressing, toileting, caring, spiritual fulfillment, skin care, house-keeping, cooking, eating, obtaining nourishing meals, reading, communication, staying warm or cool, transportation, entertainment, exercising, learning, networking, self-actualization, grand-parenting, employment, or socializing. Please provide a link and/or attachment to a handout, pdf file, power point, YouTube video, or web site so that we may learn more about your innovative product or service that you have found. The posting needs to introduce something innovative to us that we may not have heard of before – a newly patented invention or service new on the market. Let us know the exact details and advantages so that we can actually act as a promoter of the product (if we approve of it) and be very clear when we describe it to our clients
