Please respond to my initial prompt below.  You will not be able to view your peers’ responses until you have provided your own response. 

Last week, we reviewed the JBI Model for developing and implementing clinical practice guidelines.  This week, read pages 480-490 in Burns and Grove.  Choose one of the models that you find there (Statler Model, Iowa Model, or Grove Model).  Compare and contrast this method with the JBI Model.  Which model do you prefer?  Why?  Describe the elements that appeal to you.  What makes the preferred model evidence-based?  Discuss your findings with at least two of your colleagues.

Business Operation Training

You are an internal consultant working for a large organization. Top management believes all managers should understand how and why they operate the business in the manner they do. You have been asked to create a document to be used in an internal training program for newly appointed or newly hired managers. The company develops its strategic/business plans, objectives, and goals on the basis of competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. The training program will focus on this process.

In a Microsoft Word document, respond to the four elements as described below, each in its own dedicated section.

  • On the basis of the research, generically explain the difference between mission and vision statements. Provide two examples (of mission and vision statements) of two actual companies and compare and contrast the statements of the two companies.
  • Explain the difference between the purpose of a business strategy and a business model. Provide examples (of the business strategy and the business model) of two actual companies, discussing them.
  • After researching the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis, explain each element, describing how each might be used to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Discuss why each level of an organization must set goals that support the overall organizational goals (i.e., goal alignment) and ramifications for the organization if they are not aligned.

Your final product should be a 3- to 5-page Microsoft Word document using a minimum of three scholarly sources. Be sure you write in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources; and display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Use APA format.

Unethical Influence Tactics

Think about a time when you experienced a leader who used negative or unethical influence tactics in an organization, or research a leader known for the use of negative or unethical influence tactics. You must identify the leader and organization, and provide a URL to the website of one or the other as part of a narrated presentation.

Instructions:

  • Provide a brief overview of the leader and the organization, the situation, and any other key players relevant to the situation.
  • Describe the specific unethical influence tactics that were used in the situation. Then, analyze those influence tactics in terms of the leader’s overall leadership strategy and use of power within the organization.
  • What was the outcome of the situation? If you were the leader in that situation, what would you have done differently?

Presentation Requirements:

  • Your presentation should be either a 5- to 8-minute video or 10-12 narrated slides with images and detailed speaker notes (between 75 to 100 words per slide), not counting the title and reference page slides, which you must include in both the video and slide presentation.

1) Watch the documentary “Inside the Meltdown.” It is about an hour long and details some of the specific business practices that led to the economy falling apart in 2008, and to the passage of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act (Dodd-Frank) along with the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Those are covered in Chapter 4, and make up a large part of the Unit 2 Complete assignment.

The documentary offers an insider view of the financial meltdown from the point of view of Washington and New York. It starts on September 18, 2008. In the first few moments, members of the Congressional leadership are astonished to be brought into a private session with the Federal Reserve Chairman and told that the American and international financial system was in grave danger of a complete meltdown in a matter of days. One of them noted, “There was literally a pause in that room while the oxygen left.”

2) Write a one page report (300-400 words), summarizing what you learned and indicating how the video helps (or doesn’t help) create a better understanding of Dodd Frank and the CFPB. Follow APA requirements for a cover page and reference page

You will then write a short Reflection Paper which must be submitted as a Word document on Blackboard. The paper must be engaging, substantive, and interesting. It must include self-reflection and personal application, not merely a summary and critique of what you viewed and read. Examine new insights about yourself as an emerging group leader from the perspective of a biblical worldview.

The paper must be 3–4 pages (1,000–1,300 words), not counting the title or reference pages (no abstract is necessary). Although you may use first person in this paper, remember it must be in current APA format. The paper must be well written, well organized, and free of grammar, spelling, or other writing errors. Address the following 2 topics by integrating relevant ideas from Corey et al. (2014) and Jacobs et al. (2016). Subheadings are unnecessary.

1.Identify, by name, the group member in the first or second program with whom you identify with the most. Explain why you identify with this person, i.e. what experience or issue were you able to relate to? Briefly describe 1–2 situations in which this member was working. What thoughts, feelings, fears, etc. did the member articulate? What skills and techniques did the group leaders (Jerry and Marianne Corey) use to guide the working member and to deepen the focus? How were other group members involved in this process?

2.The Coreys established specific group norms in the beginning stage by encouraging group members to speak up, articulate their feelings, talk out loud, address one another, look at each other, and actively participate. These norms laid the foundation for interpersonal learning involving direct talk and role play in the present. Note how the leaders asked questions such as “Is there someone here you can relate to?” and “Who in here are you aware of right now?” to deepen the focus. Discuss your observations and reflections on how these and other leadership techniques used by the Coreys promoted therapeutic benefits for the group members.

This is my plan.

I am going to find the relationship between terrestrial TV channel and Netflix. Surveying viewer ratings terrestrial TV channel is different from before and after appearance of Netflix. Nowadays many people often watch TV programs through Netflix. Because of that, there are some limitations in measuring the exact number of audience watching TV. Originally viewer rating counted the number of viewer exactly on time. However, in modern society we have a lot of contents like a Netflix. The characteristics of Netflix is user can choose the time they want. According to Nielsen announced “Hulu and Youtube TV now include in the ratings”. Like this, as time goes by the method of survey viewer ratings should be improve.
