Contract Finalization powerpoint

Now that you know what you are buying, the requirements, and the types of contracts, you are ready to put the contracts out for bid. Continue to develop your procurement plan and align it with the rest of the project plan by deciding which bidding methods you will use for each of the following contracts:

  • Hiring technicians to install and configure the software for your environment
  • Hiring a training entity to teach the student PMs the mechanics of using the new tool
  • Buying a new server and software to run the tool and house the project database
  • Hiring tool usage experts to transfer knowledge to the student PMs about the use of the tool on the job for the first 60 days after going live
  • Planning for the removal and disposal of scheduling tool software and hardware that are no longer to be used

Assignment Guidelines

  • For each of the contracts above, address the following questions:
    • Which bidding method will you use? Why?
    • Were there other possible bidding methods that you considered for this contract? Explain.
    • How does this procurement task of bid selection integrate with the rest of the project for ADC?
    • Once you have selected the ideal bidding method and a bidder has been accepted, how will you ensure that the quality of the final product will be measured effectively?
    • What challenges will you need to overcome when measuring and ensuring quality? Why?
      • How will you overcome these challenges?
  • Compile your responses for the above questions into a PowerPoint presentation of 8–12 slides with 150–200 words of speaker notes per slide.
    • Include additional title and reference slides.

Please submit your assignment.

Module 2 Discussion

Put each assignment in separate documents.

Module 2 Discussion

Discussion Topic: Review the “Discussion Boards” informational links provided.

Select 1-2 tips for writing for discussion boards that seem very important to you. Explain your rule choice and give a good example and a bad example of that rule. Be sure to read your other classmates’ posts to see many good and bad examples of discussion board “netiquette.”

Module 2.1 Writing Assignment (Why is it important to volunteer?) MLA Style and at least 1 reference.

Paragraph Assignment: Write one proper paragraph about a topic in which you have some knowledge and interest. Follow the rules for writing a proper paragraph and include at least 5 sentences (or more).

Reminders: A paragraph is a group of sentences organized around a common topic. A paragraph should have a topic sentence, which grabs the reader’s attention, supporting details that prove the facts, descriptions and examples of the topic sentence, and a concluding sentence, which drives the final point home. A good paragraph contains traditional words that unify the sentences and create flow. Paragraphs come in three basic types: narrative (tells about an event), descriptive (vividly describes one subject), and expository (provides information)

If you cannot create a topic of your own, write a paragraph concerning why it is important to volunteer.

Module 2.3 Writing Assignment (Choose one of the topics, it does not matter which one you choose.)

Pick ONE of these and email a simple but proper paragraph (as you have learned) including your answer.

  • What in the recent past has made you feel the most alive?
  • If you could meet any one person (living or dead) for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?
  • How do you use the information that you learned in your favorite class in your life today?
  • If you could only choose one vacation destination where would you pick and why?
  • If money were not a consideration, how would you spend the days of your life?
  • What is one thing that you MUST do during your lifetime? (bucket list?)

$1 Bid , $30 tip

Hi I have a essay below and I just need you to go over it and fix any grammar errors and fix the sentences .

“King of the Bingo game” shows the protagonist who has been exposed to an intense alienation. On many occasions, he is isolated from other players in the game in both spheres emotionally and culturally. This essay shall explore highlight some of the crucial scenes where he is alienated and set apart from others in an incredible revelation that even himself is not in a position to share out. The isolations act as an operation from a position that is both powerful and powerless as discussed.

Bingo King is residing in a world that does not want him and cannot keep his place. He lives without a birth certificate, which does not warrant his existence in that country. Once he has been known not to exist, the certificate cannot be applicable anywhere. Even he will not be hired for a job in the factory or anywhere else where he will go to ask for a vacancy (Bruck 87). Bingo King is absolute in that country and all other people ignore him.

The alienations are from the current world and the place he is residing from currently. People have been separated from each bothers in that everyone is existing in a theatre of separation. The alienation Bingo King is experiencing is not from his skin color or his descendants originates from a race that is perceived to be inferior or any kind of preconceived stereotype perceived to his people. On this side of the world, no one neither cares about each other nor takes concern about the other. All those people are concerned here is fulfilling their hunger, desires, wants, or their personal needs. No one seemed to be concerned or to be a brothers’ keeper (Draper 56). No one can give anything to others for the joy of sharing with other human beings for the joy of sharing.

The people who are inside the theater who do not have the idea that Bingo King existed up to the time of Bingo Game explain these in an example. One woman has seated right in front of Bingo King and she is eating peanuts. The woman recalls his name from his hometown where it was possible for her to beg someone for a few peanuts and gladly they wound hand them to him. He notices that here, the situation is very different although it was a fact that the city is very big (Notebooks 125). No one seems to care or even to take not if Bingo King is existing or not. If she asks the woman to share the peanuts with him, the woman will ignore him or tell him to go and look for his bag of peanuts.

Despite the higher rate of alienations and the precursor to the Invincible Man, “King of the Bingo Game” wakes up to demand his attention. He has been alienated from his environment and surroundings which makes him put together the existences of anxiety to the traditional hero from the modern settings with the experiences that blacks underwent in America that only increases his state of alienation. In the surroundings, he is an invincible man. He struggles to manipulate his way out and pave for his identifications.

He intentionally looks at the crowd and concludes that they are all fools. From the thoughts that he has come up with an answer, he is very far from reality because what he has done is running mad. He believes he has all the answers like Faust, which is also not true. From the glamour that he sees from Bingo wheels, he gets a false impression that he has gained power over the entire universe while others perceive it as an opportunity to get some little cash and have some fun too (Bruck 112).

There exist two different worlds where wheels exist. In the world of reality, the wheels are there as a game and there is another world where Bingo King sees the wheels from another point of view. In this world, he can win the game, control the wheel, and became a god (Notebooks 207). This is the world where, out deep desperations and madness, he had to come out and put a struggle of getting money than a job. In the world of fantasy or story, he is not in a position for a job.

The alienation state of Bingo King is so deep that he is neither in a position to save his wife through the game of Jackpot of 36.90 nor getting out of poverty which is currently suffering in. Through the game, he is getting false hopes that it is very possible to salvage. The depression state is sending him to be alienated further. Through the desperate state, he shall be alienating himself more in that he remains to depend on fortunes even to laces where there is none. When people in this society have very little or no hope, as a result, they are alienated (Draper 102). If they have little hope, they dedicate their lives to valiant causes. Here is where the fate of Bingo King gotten.

Although leads to division and defragmentation of people, it is through the same alienation that people get their freedom through self-realization and development without putting the subject to stand outside itself and in most cases through non alienated labor. In direct actions in political; plays, the modernist compositions of alienation are brought into existence if the political action is direct into the realm.

Bingo King has also been alienated from his race. This is expressed at the time he rises to the stage and the emcee asks him where he has come from. Bingo King Replies “Down South,” The emcee makes a ridiculous comment about his ascent that is naturally rural and the down-home ways that are different from the audience’s hard and cynical ways. Who call “let that fool up there!” once he gets his bingo. The Bingo king however manages to get an act of revenge, although it is from his mind as he makes moves approaching the stage making sure he has overcome all the fates. His being black like other narrows ashamed them and he even felt ashamed most of the time from what other Negros were doing to him (Gale 163). He felt that for once they should also feel ashamed like him. Alienations are lastly experienced at the end of the story when Bingo King gets the brutal treatment that could only be experienced by people of his race.

Paper assignment: Writing

Please take a look in the attachments

Please watch the original Barbie commercial. Consider what messages are inherent in these dolls and what she teaches girls about femininity.

Now watch this clip on GI Joe. What does he teach boys about masculinity?

PAPER ASSIGNMENT:

What do toys teach us about masculinity and femininity?

Your assignment for this week is take a trip to a local toy store (or visit one on-line) and analyze the messages which are communicated through the store’s layout, branding, toy selection, packaging, etc. I find that “mega” toy stores such as Toys ‘R’ Us and Target work better for this assignment than do small specialty stores, but you are welcome to visit any toy store you like. To help you think about what you are seeing I recommend using the “Toystore Research Worksheet” I have attached above.

Once you have completed your investigation, you will write a short paper response. Your paper should be 1000 words in length and be written in narrative form. Please address the questions asked on the worksheet (but don’t just turn in a bulleted form of the worksheet-remember, you are writing a paper!). Additionally, be sure to use any critical terms covered in your assigned readings and this week’s lecture.

For full credit you must incorporate at least two sources from class (or relevant sources from outside of class). The two sources must be correctly cited (APA or MLA) in the body of your paper. You must also include a properly formatted works cited. Here is a great website that can help you with formatting your works cited and correctly citing sources: The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) at https://owl.english.purdue.edu.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WORD LIMIT REQUIREMENTS:

Please note that each and every assignment has its own word limit.

The Health belief model (HBM) is a way to demonstrate the correlation between health behavior that are vital in behavior change and the information was later used to design intervention methods and evaluations. The HBM was developed in an effort to examine why people do not participate in disease prevention programs such as screenings. In an effort to solve this issue, peoples’ behavioral responses to detecting diseases were examined. Throughout this examination, premises were created based on the behavioral responses, for example, if an individual is at risk for a disease or the condition was serious then they would take heed to the prevention method (Glanz et al., 2015).

Furthermore, strengths in for the HBM is the predictability entity which were more effective when the 7 constructs are put into play, such as perceived susceptibility and severity, which is the belief of contracting a disease that is serious or life-threatening (perceived threat). There is perceived barrier, which are obstacles that prevent the individuals from taking actions, such as cost, or fear of results from screening. Lastly there is cues to action which are cues that triggers actions such as symptoms which causes the individuals to seek help such as screenings. Whereas, the weaknesses to the HBM are that beliefs, attitudes, social determinants, environmental factors and economic factors are not taken into account. Situations where the HBM is used are vaccination behavior such as HPV or H1N1 vaccination, screening such as colon cancer screening, and symptom-promoted health care behavior (Glanz et al., 2015) (Jones et al., 2015).

The transtheoretical model (TTM) is an integrative model that uses various stages of change to assess and promote health behavior change to at least 48 behaviors. These stages are “pre-contemplation” which is the individual refusing to take action and “contemplation,” which is the individuals deciding to take action to change their behavior. There is “preparation” which is the individuals taking action within a month towards the behavior change and there is “action” which is the individual making specific action to change their behavior. Additionally, there is “maintenance” which is the individual sustaining the action and “termination” where the individual achieved the behavior change and feeling zero temptation to return to the old behavior. An example of a situation where this model is appropriate is smoking cessation. Some weakness to the TTM is a lack of data produced on the significant prevention effects on preventing substance abuse among children because the TTM does not apply to children and adolescent effectively. A strength is the model is able to promote behavior change for 12 to 48 different behavioral conditions such as weight control, safer sex, smoking cessation, and mammography screening, etc., (Glanz et al., 2015) (Hashemzadeh et al., 2019).

What they both have in common is that the models change motivation into actions, along with elaborating on the positive consequences when the individuals engage in positive behavior and promoting negative consequences when they engage in negative behavior (Glanz et al., 2015).

Discussion: Battling Over Bottled Water, Business and Finance homework help

  • This is only a discussion question and can be in short form.
  • Read Case 3.2: Battling Over Bottled Water, located on page 109 in
your textbook. Nestlé holds a 99-year lease for the land that the
Sanctuary Spring sits on. While lease-holders are generally understood
to be able to make full use of their land, when public resources are
involved, they are limited to “reasonable uses.” Review the case study
and formulate an argument either supporting or challenging this
distinction. Support your reasoning by addressing key ways in which
benefits and burdens are being distributed between Nestlé and the
    community in this case.

identify the name of the two (2) assessment tools and/or methods you plan on reviewing.

In a 3-4 page paper, written in APA format, identify the name of the two (2) assessment tools and/or methods you plan on reviewing. Devote at least one (1) full page to each assessment tool, including the following:

  1. The type/method employed by the assessment tools (checklist, anecdotal reports, rating scale, etc.).
  2. An overview of the methods you have chosen which includes the domain(s) the tool focuses on (social-emotional, linguistic, environmental, etc.), and the possible purposes for this assessment (curriculum evaluation, child behavior, language acquisition, environmental influences, developmental screening, etc.). This must be supported by at least two (2) credible references (no blogs!).
  3. Include a 1-page reflection about your research which includes the reason you have chosen these specific tools/methods. Consider:
    • Your own personal style preferences
    • The focus/subject for the information you would like to gather
    • How this tool will support child development
  4. Include visual samples of the tools you selected. Incorporate these images at the end of your written content. You may provide your own images

Your paper should reflect proper spelling and grammar as well as include a References page containing at least two (2) credible references.

Competitive Analysis- Part 2, business and finance homework help

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS – PART 2

Guidelines and Rubric

Part 2 continues with research into Direct and Indirect Competitors, and answering your research question, with the following content:

Step 1 – Research

Direct Competitors

Select a direct competitor Mattel Toys.A direct competitor satisfies the same market need with a very similar product or service (NOTE: be sure both the competitive company you choose is also publicly-traded, so it will be easier to research company information).Create a brief profile of each of the two companies that includes these factors:

A.company history

B.corporate leaders

C.financial performance (actual sales and profits for the previous 3 years, and estimates

for this year)

D.most important product or service the company sells

E.pricing (higher, equal to or below competitors)

F.how their product or service is distributed to consumers

G.how and where they advertise

H.factors that make the company stronger than its competitors

I.factors that make the company weaker than its competitors

Indirect Competitor

Choose a publicly-traded company that competes indirectly with the competitors you profiled above. For instance, if your direct competitors were Whole Foods and Sprouts Farmers Market (specialty grocery stores), an indirect competitor might be Safeway Stores, a more mainstream grocery store that also offers natural and organic products.Remember that indirect competitors satisfy the same market need, but with a different product.Create an infographic that describes the same nine factors listed above (A through I) for the indirect competitor.

Competitive Analysis

In this section, you will draw upon your research for the prior sections to offer an “informed opinion” about the industry, its competitors, and the potential for future success.Be sure to comment on these issues, and support your answers with data and facts:

J.What is your answer to the original research question?Mention at least threespecific conclusions and the facts that led you to those conclusions.

K.Intensity of competition – do you believe this is a highly competitive industry? Why or why not?

L.Key success factors – what has allowed certain companies in the industry to succeed?

M.Potential for growth – if you had $100 million to spare, would you invest in this business or industry? Why or why not?

Step 2 – Infographics

Once you have gathered reliable information on these topics, you will create one or more infographics to communicate your findings. An infographic is a visual image – often a chart or diagram – that, with the addition of a few captions or labels, will quickly convey the data you found.Try to combine as much data into a single infographic as possible, without creating confusion.Remember: “a picture is worth a thousand words,” an adage variously attributed to Confucius, Napoleon, or 1920s-era ad man Frederick Barnard.Use the headings from Step 1, above.

You will not be writing a paper for this assignment, but creating an infographic.Depending on the software you choose to create the infographics (Piktochart is strongly preferred), you might turn in an image file, a series of image files (like jpeg’s), a PDF file, or links to infographics you have stored in web-based sources.

Step 3 – Annotated Bibliography

Rather than a typical APA-formatted References List, you will create an “annotated bibliography” to identify the information sources represented in your infographics.See exercise 4 in the InfoQuest workbook for details on how to develop and format this type of bibliography. The annotated bibliography you submit for this assignment should include ALL reference sources you used for the Competitive Analysis project – Part 1 and Part 2.

I have attached the Part 1 of the Competitive Analysis project for reference.
