You have learned extensively about Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease, two of the most common neurodegenerative diseases in the world. I would like you to explore a bit more about one of these 2 diseases. I would like you to write an approximately 500 word report about either Alzheimer’s Disease or Parkinson’s Disease. This report should include, but not be limited to the following ideas:
- Who discovered the disease, and provide some early history of the disease
- What are the main pathological hallmarks of the disease
- Why aren’t there more options available for therapeutics
- In your opinion, will there ever be a cure for this disease? Why or why not?
