Rhetorical Paper:

You must choose a controversial topic by the midterm and seek my approval. The topic should be relevant to today’s society and have a religious dimension to it. Write a piece that defends a position in the debate that is an attempt to sway your opponents. The primary purpose of the paper is to convince, but your argument must utilize the Bible as part of a theological argument. The purpose of this is to make sure that the Bible is still a relevant part of our modern discourse.

Rhetorical papers cannot be given length limits, because it needs to be as long as necessary to accomplish its purpose, but not longer. That said, 4-8 pages is a good range to aim for. This contract might require several planning stages, and I encourage anyone working on it to be in contact with me on a regular basis.
