America is seemingly moving closer to a socialist form of government. The United States government has a large ownership in Bank of America, currently where more than half of Americans do their banking. They continue to fund failing private businesses (AIG’s original bailout plan was 85 billion and has just today been approved for 150 billion). I fully understand that the bailouts are justified because they serve the public’s best interest. In other words, private business will not collapse and jobs will be saved with government help. God or bad, the United States is taking a significant, perhaps irreversible, step towards socialist governing.
