Control Quality – Continuous Improvement
Continuous improvement is one of the key responsibilities of
project managers. The PMBOK® Guide identifies four quality improvement
initiatives: 1) PDCA, 2) total quality management, 3) Six Sigma, and 4) Lean
Six Sigma.
Select two of these initiatives to compare. Prepare a 500 to
750-word essay response on how you would use these initiatives to continuously
improve quality. Your response should focus on two levels:
1) Continuous improvement at the project level
2) Continuous improvement at the organizational level
In addition to the PMBOK® Guide, include a minimum of three
credible references pertaining to the project closing process with at least one
of these being a peer-reviewed journal article. Properly cite your response.
