Roald Dahl was a children’s author who wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and many other novels and short stories. He wrote this quotation about editing, “Good writing is essentially rewriting.” What do you think he meant by that? Explain your thoughts fully in a one to two paragraph response.
