build a similar website homepage to this one super simple

Hello for this class I am required to build a similar website to one of my choosing but it doesn’t have to be exact obviously it just has to be similar with the changes that I mentioned in the power point that I have made.

This must be in dreamweaver or html/css

website I am modeling is http://www.bagelguysdeli.com/home.html

also make sure to add a child page which could be the about us page

where you explain the corona situation and how food is avaliable for pick up

Site requirements from Week11:

This week your goal is to build your project’s index.html home page from the design you submitted in Week10.

  • Create the page (most likely from New, HTML w/ Bootstrap framework, although I suggest not including a pre-built layout) or using one of the Dreamweaver templates.
  • Remove extraneous elements, and insert any additional HTML and bootstrap elements.
  • Enter the content for the page (it may be easier to start with placeholder text e.g., “This is the footer”).
  • Update the placeholder text to include your real text and image content, and then style as desired.
  • All styles should be added to an external stylesheet – I should not see you formatting anything through html tags or through embedded styles (styles up in the <head> area of the page).

Next week you’ll move on to your child page(s).

  • Hint: copy your index.html and give it the name of a child page, and then just edit within the container holding your main content (i.e., DON’T edit anything in the header, nav or footer – so they stay consistent from page to page).
