captal punishment

For this last writing assignment, the topic will be capital punishment. Include the history of capital punishment in your discussion, along with arguments both in support of and those against it. You may also wish to include a comparison of capital punishment and life in prison. Lastly, evaluate capital punishment using the three ethical principles; utilitarianism, formalism and virtue ethics.
