Choose an AUDIO example (not video clip) from Unit 4: Japan and write a 150 word journal about it. Please utilize the listening guides in your textbook for this assignment. Include information about the audio example including the genre or style, instruments and form. What culture creates this music? What behaviors or activities are associated with this music? Also include your personal thoughts or feelings about your chosen audio example. Do you like it/dislike it? Why did you choose this particular example?

Your Journal should be around 150 words (5 pts), cover all of the topic points (5 pts), and be submitted on time (5 pts). There are 15 points possible for this assignment.

Japan Audio Examples

Audio Examples ARE part of the Japan Quiz. Please utilize the Listening Guides in your textbook when listening to these examples. Some important information to know for each example includes: the culture that creates the music, the instruments you are hearing, the song type or genre of the music, and what kinds of activities are associated with the music.

(Voter participation) Consider the game of voter participation. Assume that k ≤ m and that each player’s preferences are represented by the expectation of her payoffs given. Show that there is a value of p between 0 and 1 such that the game has a mixed strategy Nash equilibrium in which every supporter of candidate A votes with probability p, k supporters of candidate B vote with certainty, and the remaining m − k supporters of candidate B abstain. How do the probability p that a supporter of candidate A votes and the expected number of voters (“turnout”) depend upon c? (Note that if every supporter of candidate A votes with probability p then the probability that exactly k − 1 of them vote is kpk−1(1 − p).)

hey buddy,

Math 203 Course Project
You may only use quantitative data for this project.
You will be gathering your own data. You can do a survey to get your sample or you may use data found online. The sample size should be between 10 and 50, inclusive.
• Define the random variable you are using. Describe how you got your sample data set. Include the raw data in your report.
• Is your random variable discrete or continuous?
• Construct a frequency distribution for your data set using 5 to 10 classes (you choose how many). What is your class width? Your distribution should include class limits, frequency and relative frequency.
• Construct a frequency histogram and a relative frequency histogram for your data set; labeling each graph appropriately. Describe the shape of your data (symmetrical, skewed right or skewed left).
• Calculate the measures of center for your sample (mean, median, and mode).
• Calculate the measures of spread for your sample (range, variance and standard deviation).
• Use Chebyshev’s Inequality to find the range in which at least 89% of the data fall.
• Use the Empirical Rule to find the range in which 95% of the data fall.
• Identify the five-number summary and find the interquartile range. Construct a boxplot of your data set. Does your data contain any outliers (identify upper and lower boundaries used to determine)?
• Construct two probability questions about your data and solve each. Here, you are creating the problem and then solving. Examples below:
a. For discrete data: P(exactly X) ; P(at least X); P(at most X); P(less than X); P(more than X)
b. For continuous data: P(X between 2 values); P(more than X); P(less than X)
• Construct a 90% confidence interval for the population parameter from your sample (include the critical value that would be used).
• Construct a hypothesis test using your data. Here, you will be making a guess about the population parameter and using your sample information to solve. Show both the traditional method (give the critical value) and p-value method. Use a level of significance of 0.05.
The final project should be written in paragraph form and needs to include all the information listed. Do not present the information as individual numbered problems. Think of it as if you were writing an article. You are basically explaining your process (give definitions, formulas, etc) as you give your results.
NOTE: The final project must be neat, organized and easy to read.
I will NOT accept nor grade any rough drafts or scratch work!!!
Graphs may be done by hand, but if you are familiar with computer software like Excel, you may use that for the graphs. If you would like a couple of sheets of graph paper, please come by my office.

assign 5 humidity and condensation answer the questions on the file attached

Print-out this “single-page” assignment, write your answers on it by hand, then scan it (or else photograph it with your SmartPhone). (OR: If you know how to seamlessly upload this into your own software and not do it by hand, then do that, OR: similarly upload it into your touch-screen tablet or iPad, or whatever.)

Though only a single page, it does cover your knowledge of an extensive amount of material. (If that’s not evident as you do this assignment, then you probably still need to do a lot of work with the last unit on “Condensation Processes.”)
