Good Morning Scholars: This week is dubbed Movie Week. Each student should go to YOUTUBE and watch the movie “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”. It is a Black and White Movie based on the inner workings of the Senate and especially on the issue of FILIBUSTER  and the use of CLOTURE to end a FILIBUSTER in the modern Congress. After successfully watching the movie, each student should present a one-page report as an email attachment to me for grading as part of HIS/HER discussion response question for the semester. It is a must that each student watches the movie and do the assignments.
