Each student shall research recent cases in the criminal justice system that present ethical issues of

topics approved by me . Your paper should identify the ethical issue, analyze and evaluate the ethical issue

using the recent case, and recommend a solution to the ethical issue that incorporates ethical philosophy

and concepts studied in this course. Ensure you provide supporting rationale for your argument and argue

both sides of the issue.

Each paper must include at least three reliable references (other than the assigned text) and proper

citations. We will discuss citations in class. Your paper shall be APA FORMAT typed in Microsoft Word, on 8.5 X 11

inch paper, using 12-pt font, one inch margins, Times New Roman, and consist of a minimum of 1,500

words – double spaced. This equates to approximately 4 full pages for each paper. Do NOT include your

title page or reference page as part of the word or page count.
