DEAF CULTURE ESSAY
Your assignment was to define the term “culture” and describe your own cultural influences. This 1000-word paper requires that you integrate at least five references from the course readings and/or other sources you find in the library. Internet pages cannot be used as any of the five references. This project is worth a total of 10% of your overall grade. The following are significant issues used in the project grading:
-I ATTACHED AN EXAMPLE OF A GREAT CULTURE PAPER AND WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE, TAKE A LOOK.
-NO INTERNET REFERENCES, JUST BOOKS.
THE TEXTBOOK FOR THIS CLASS IS: Holcomb, T. (2013). Introduction to American Deaf Culture. Oxford University Press. (AT LEAST 5 REFERENCES)
-*****FOR THE INFORMATION ON MY CULTURE YOU CAN KEEP IT BASIC, I DIDN’T REALLY HAVE A STRICT CULTURE. JUST TO ALWAYS DO GOOD IN SCHOOL, EDUCATION CAN PROVIDE ME MORE OPPORTUNITY, FAMILY COMES FIRST, MARRIAGE ISN’T A NECESSITY, RESPECT MY ELDERS, HONESTY IS BETTER THAN A LIE NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS, RESPECT MY SELF, TREAT OTHERS HOW I WANT TO BE TREATED, LOVE HARD
