This week’s required reading introduces a case study to demonstrate critical analysis of asymmetrical leadership. In Chapter 3, Western used seven different leadership examples when discussing the Case Study: Lenin’s Leadership. One of the seven is entitled Mass Leadership (Social Movement Leadership).

For this week’s discussion, choose a current social movement from anywhere in the world. Then, using the required readings and your own research, discuss the role that “collective actors” play in your chosen social movement. Additionally, describe any group or collective processes that you discovered. Use specific examples to make major points.
