Diversity in Cisco
I started already the company information section (I didn’t write about the employees though). If wording needs to be changed, I won’t take offense. I just really need help finishing this. I will attached once a tutor is assigned.
Guidelines
Please use APA style for the in-text citations and reference page. The paper should be about 3 pages. Your group is to research the designated company (Cisco) using the following topics and questions to guide your research:
Company Information: History, mission statement, and product/service. Who are the company’s customers and employee’s? Where are they located?
Status of Diversity within the Organization: What role does diversity play within the company? Does the company promote employees that are diverse? Do they outsource?
Philosophy: What are the leader’s philosophy on diversity issues and management?
Strategies: What strategies does the organization implement to transform the way in which the organization manages diversity?
Goals: What were the diversity-related goals implemented by the company? What are the company’s future goals as they relate to diversity?
Current Status: What is the current status of the organization in terms of diversity in particular and overall success in general?
The following should be covered or found in the paper somewhere throughout the 6 sections:

Description of Company’s Diversity Initiatives
– What is the philosophy of leadership on diversity issues?
– Is diversity apparent among the organizations’ employees, work processes, and ethical practices?
– How apparent (visible) is it?
– Do the companies promote it in some way? How?
– What are the diversity-related goals, if any?
Company’s Success
– Discuss companies’ productivity and rate of success as to integration or not of diversity initiatives
