Domestic violence

1 .What characteristics would lead a provider to
suspect domestic violence, child abuse, or elder abuse is taking place within a
family? Discuss your facility’s procedure for reporting these types of abuse.

Post your substantive (see participation policy) responses to
Discussion Questions in the Main Forum and begin commenting on each other’s
responses. Please post your responses in the DQ threads. Responses to each
question should be at least 200 and not to exceed 300 words. Keep in mind that
is not necessarily the number of posts, but the quality and ability to
respond to your peer’s posts as well to support the conversation with your
experiences. This will assist you in receiving an excellent/ outstanding grade
of 100%. Also keep in mind that you should have at expanded your own thoughts
with minimal support from the readings. Your initial response should be
supported by primarily by your experience and minimally the readings. Please
site your sources in the DQ. Additional responses should encourage discussion
and participation by the individual.

Everyone is responsible to assure that all of their individual
work has been checked to assure that there is no evidence of plagiarism. If you
do not understand what plagiarism is you need to contact the Writing
Center. If you are found plagiarizing this is to be reported to the
University Administration. Please check all of your written submission for
the group assignments. Also assure that other assignments, discussion posts are
free of this issue. There is a small portion of a submission that is
acceptable but there needs to be every attempt to assure this does not occur.
