  • Create a bar graph showing the student loan delinquencies for all states for last year (2018). Which are the top 6 states with the highest rates of student loan delinquencies for last year? Which state is the highest?
  • Create a new bar graph with the highest 6 states for every 3 years going as far back as the data will let you (i.e 2018, 2015, 2013, 2010, etc). Which state is the highest? Was it the highest over all the years you analyzed? Was the number of delinquencies rising over the years or falling?

Part 2 – One to two- page Analysis: Due May 7th at 11:59pm

In your paper you should include the graphs you created as well as the answers to the questions in part 2. Also include what steps you took get your data and create your graphs. What are your thoughts on the rates of student loan delinquencies? Are they high or low? What about in Maryland- are they on the higher side/average/lower end? What do you think causes higher rates of delinquencies? Do you think the rates will keep increasing? What sort of policies could be implemented to decrease delinquencies? Be sure to cite, using APA , any findings to back your argument and provide a bibliography.
