Hello, the assignment is to write a paper after watching the Hollywood movie Dangerous Minds and the Documentary Waiting For Superman answering the following questions:
1.What is one central problem or issue presented in the movie(s)? Provide examples to support your arguments
2. A. How are schools, students and communities depicted in each movie? Be sure to compare/contrast the similarities and differences between the depictions.
B. Do you believe they give a fair and realistic representation? Why or why not? Present both sides of the argument.
3. A. Who are the key individuals, organizations, movements, and/or programs?

4.How does the mainstream media (e.g., news, TV, Hollywood) shape public perspectives and perpetuate myths of urban schooling? How do real-world grassroots organizations, movements or groups push back against these myths regarding the topic/theme of the films?
5.How do stereotypes and myths created or reinforced through various media (film news) directly affect real-world historic or current urban education policies? Be sure to provide examples and support with evidence).
6.Write a conclusion that includes at least two changes or solutions that YOU recommend? Support your arguments with why these changes or solutions are important and also how they might be implemented.)
Support the work with at least three in-text citations of references – no Wikipedia is allowed. You must also include both movies in your bibliography (these movies do not count as part of the three in-text references). This means that you must have at least five references. All references must be in APA and on a separate reference page at the end of the paper.
