Health Screenings
Screenings uncover health problems within a community. This is done in an efficient and economical way by analyzing the specific population within a community as having a high prevalence of a disease or health problem. The effectiveness of screening can promote a positive outcome for the population at risk. Screening instruments are valid and reliable and offer identification and prevention of many diseases within a given community.

Knowing that you cannot have both sensitivity and specificity in a screening test, which will be most important? Justify your response with the readings or journal articles from the online library.
