Here is the assignment description “Please write a three to three-and-a-half page summary of “A More Perfect Union” by former United States President Barack Obama. Your task is to concisely, accurately, and objectively restate Obama’s essay in your own words. Do not critique his argument or provide a personal reflection. You are also not allowed to incorporate quotations. Consequently, you must paraphrase what you consider to be the essay’s central argument and the supporting evidence that contributes to that argument. Finally, remember to include both an introduction and a conclusion.

The essay must be typed, double-spaced, with Times New Roman 12-point font, page numbers, and one-inch margins on all sides. Format according to MLA standards, including a left margin heading, and give the essay an appropriate title.”
