individual case study of operations management 1
This is the replacement with our retail store observation report due to coronas virus-related stay shelter order. We cannot go to stores to do our observation this time. So, we’ll replace it with a case study report. Since this is the first time to write an individual case study report in this class, we have no samples for this assignment yet.
Guideline for Case Reflection
4-6 pages excluding the cover page, double-spaced, font 12, Times New Roman, cover page, page number on the top right corner, running head, skip the abstract part, at least 2 citations including your primary case citation, references at the end, completely following the APA style, see the sample below (1.5 points)
1. Case introduction (3 points)
- Select a case from MIT Sloan Business School case studies website or Harvard Business School case studies website as below.
- Write a short summary of the case.

- Case issue analysis (5 points)
- Find out what issue that the case has addressed (1 point)
- Relate it to 1-2 operations management strategies that we’ve discussed (1 point)
- Explain what solution/technique the case applied, whether they worked, and why (2 points)
- Make your suggestions as to further improvement, and support your suggestions with 1-2 research citations (1 point)
- Conclusion (0.5 points): Wrap up your case analysis
