Interim/Progress Report due at the end of class, Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
The progress report should include all steps necessary to complete the full report and show their status (whether they are completed or not) and a date when they will be completed. Please note that this progress report is about the tasks necessary to create and finish writing and submitting the report. Once done, you can use it as a checklist for yourself. You can use memo format for the heading, but do not need to show a Summary or Introduction as is shown in the sample in the book. This progress report should be easily readable showing each task necessary, including each specific research to be done as part of creating the report. For instance, you would need to list obtaining research by going to Best Buy separately from going online to the Consumer Reports website, etc. For the writing of the report, you need to list each specific heading separately since you will write them at different times. You can use a spread sheet model, such as shown on page 480, but it must include all the tasks in creating the report. You may wish to group them into categories with headings such as Research and Writing, but it must include all tasks necessary for the entire report. Once the progress report is done, you can use it as a check sheet for your progress going forward. Points will be assigned as follows:
Title 1 point
Easily readable format 2 points
Listing of all tasks 5 points
Dates Completed 1 point
Dates to be completed
