International Analysis of Organization Design
This assignment involves selecting one country outside the U.S. that is of particular interest and relevance to you. The assignment is to write an 8-10 page paper that summarizes the culture of the country and how the culture influences the elements of organization design (organization structure, job design, scanning practices, human resource systems, etc.) and management practices. One option for this assignment is to select a multi-national company that has operations in a particular country as the focus of your analysis. You are also encouraged to review Chapter 6 in the Daft text (Designing Organizations for the International Environment) to generate potential countries and topics for your paper.

As with the other selected individual assignments, you will want to integrate your findings with the concepts and principles discussed in the course. Suggested countries and approaches for this assignment will be discussed in class.
And this project requires a presentation deliveries. It’s about No more than 12 minutes.
The presentation powerpoint slide due this Sunday night, I want you give me the PPT and speech notes on Saturday.
PPT might be around 6-8 slides for 12 minutes presentation, and the speech notes please should be length for at least 10 minutes. The presentation ends with the Q&A. Please help me think about the question that the audience can discuss.You could add some video to use in the ppt.

Project Presentation
For your selected individual assignment, you will deliver a 12-minute presentation to the class that comprises an executive summary of your paper. The presentation should be organized to generate class discussion, and you are encouraged to use various media (e.g., visual aids, PowerPoint, video, etc.). The project presentations are scheduled for Session VII. The presentation format will be conference-style whereby students will present their projects in concurrent break-out sessions.
