Interview a restaurant person

Module Projects- The purpose of each project
is to provide you with experience in demonstrating your knowledge of how
the industry works and your capacity for knowing how to handle an
assignment when you are in your working career. For each assignment your
objective is to complete the following three sections:

  1. Report:
In this section of your work, provide your answer to the project
assignment. I am more interested in your questions and a summary of the
    responses.
  2. Process: Show your thinking about the steps you took
to complete the assignment. For instance what steps did you take to
prepare your answer? What sources did you use and how did you arrive at
    your decision?
  3. Evaluation: Evaluate what you learned and what
you will improve on the next time you have an assignment like this one.
There could be personal statements starting with, “I learned…,” “I
surprised myself…”, or “Next time I will definitely…”

Module
3: Interview an owner/manager of a restaurant, who you do not know,
about growing sales. As you will learn, customer service and attention
to detail are key contributors to the success of a company. The
restaurant business is especially competitive for market share. Select a
restaurant general manager and interview them about what they do to
assure they meet sales goals. Your 3-page report will have three parts:
Your answer, how you went about your work, and what you can do to
improve the next time you have such an assignment.

Avoid repetition in the work, remember to have good grammar and
sentence structure. The opening in paragraphs should be unique and catchy,
especially the very first paragraph. No short sentences and run on sentences.
Quality is always key, this cannot be stressed enough.
