This Unit explores the varying factors that play a role in not only the juvenile justice system, but the behavior of juveniles themselves. Among these factors are schools/education, peer groups, family structure, economic status or influences, and others. What single factor do you believe has the most impact on juvenile behavior today? Which factor impacts the effectiveness of the juvenile justice system the most? Are they the same factor? Support your opinions.
