1. Post a list of possible poem topics:

- list five things you have seen today

2. Now write a poem of at least ten lines developing some idea about
one of those 30 things. This is open-ended, intended to get you thinking
elastically, not to produce your master poem! Try to write concretely
about your topic — give details. You may wish to use this in your
Poetry assignment. Go right ahead.
