  Next, describe the significant manner in which the court rulings in
  juvenile delinquency cases have altered the judicial system’s treatment

• If a 17-year-old boy, who is a senior in high school, has consensual
  sex with a 15-year-old girl in high school he can be charged with Rape
  in the 2nd degree and have to register as a sex offender for ten years.
