Law Question
Your prospectus helps you organize, plan, and begin writing your term paper, and it helps assure you are on the right track with your selected topic.
Submit a 200-word prospectus (Links to an external site.) stating a summary of the topic you plan to write about for your term paper.
As a reminder, the following are the instructions for the term paper due in Module 7:
You will be writing a significant term paper that focuses on the events of 9/11. Select one aspect of the 9/11 attacks and write a detailed and well-researched paper based on that aspect of the attacks or the nation’s response to the attacks. You are invited to select you own topic, but potential topics could be:
- The errors made by the government in not detecting the plot
- How the hijackers were recruited, trained, and prepared for the attacks
- How 9/11 changed the United States’ domestic and international position on terrorism
- Domestic preparedness changes because of 9/11
- How 9/11 changed criminal justice policies in the United States
Papers should include a recommendations section with at least four well-reasoned recommendations based on research and readings you have done for improving national preparedness and/or preventing another 9/11-type attack. At least two of these recommendations must focus on some aspect of the criminal justice/policing system.
