Major Assignment: Create A Unit

You must choose an age group: infant, toddler, pre-school, or grades 1–3. Imagine that you have unlimited funds for these children. You will need to select a theme and plan a unit of 4 lessons focusing on music, art, language arts, and social studies for your selected age group.

This assignment must be typed in one-inch margins and 12-point font APA format. The explanation of each activity must follow the format listed below:

  • Subject: Lesson Topic
  • Standard: (if preschool or grades 1–3 are selected)
  • Objective: State what the children will learn
  • Materials: List all of the needed materials
  • Activity: Please list the activity in steps
  • Assessment: List how you will measure what the children know
