No specific question but the article that makes an editorial argument.
The term paper requires you to find a newspaper article that makes an editorial argument. The article or a photocopy must be attached to your paper. It should clearly state what it is that the author is trying to say. In other words, what is their main statement? Many editorials will make more than one specific statement, but you can identify one point that you are interested in researching.
The rest of the paper should use academic research to analyze whether or not the statement is true. Think of your research question as “the author of the news article says ________ (your answer to question #1 above). Is that true? Why/why not?”
Your paper must also explore why the author’s claims are or are not true.
Your paper must use at least 8 academic research articles to answer the research question. Also the paper must be between 1500 and 2000 words. You must make a bibliography at the end of the paper with the sources you have used, and reference each source within the text wherever you quote them.
The paper and bibliography must conform to APA writing style.
