 3) In the Chapter 2 of Best Practices for Intentional Teaching it mentions the 

importance of building relationships with families. It suggests that teachers

should l) exchange information about the curriculum and how it promotes

children’s development and 2) Provide information about how to extend

learning at home. Give examples of these two suggestions.

4) The article, Image of the Child” by Loris Malaguzzi emphasized ten

important thoughts about your image of the child. Please read the article
again, then reflect on what part of the article you felt was most important for

people who work with young children to understand.
