participant analysis chart

Overview: In Milestone Four of your final project, you will create a participant analysis chart, which outlines the “friends” and “enemies” you identified in the Milestone Two power analysis. a) Develop a chart that documents the participants’ motivations to participate, their goals, and how they became involved. b) Outline (via narrative) the base-building activities (door knocking, one-on-ones, house meetings, etc.) and how effective they have been to building relationships in the community. Were there certain constituencies/stakeholder groups that have not been involved in the organizing experience? If so, why do you think this has occurred? c) Identify some of the lessons learned, including whether or not there were conflicts among the participants. How were conflicts addressed? This participant analysis will provide an overview of how and why participants were involved and how conflict was addressed. It will also provide insight into other groups/individuals that could have been included who might have strengthened the effort. Guidelines for Submission: Written components of projects must follow these formatting guidelines when applicable: double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and discipline-appropriate citations. This chart should be 3–5 pages in length.
