In this clip, Ed Muzio discusses the Perceptual Leadership Approach.
Discuss what value (if any) the Perceptual Approach to leadership could
be in resolving conflicts. Identify two main ways in which the
Perceptual Approach differs from the Transactional Approach.
Which approach do you prefer to work with as an employee? Which
approach would you prefer to utilize as a leader in a group? What lead
you to choose your preferences? Explain the advantages and disadvantages
to these leadership styles in your response from both perspectives (as
employee and leader). Refer to the readings for this week to support
your responses as well.
