power point lecture

Objective: Students will develop a power point lecture on the subject of culture, literature, art, philosophy, or technology and demonstrate how these ideas influenced or were influenced by history during the time of this course.

  • Examples: education, changing roles of women/men, war time technology, artistic movements (music, art, literature), manufacturing…BUT the topic should be something that is not going to be fully covered within the class/discussions so it is important to have your ides approved!
  • Students should post your topic/thesis and proposed date to present to the class on the discussion board under Week 1 for approval before beginning work on the assignment.
