Students will pick a current topic in the culinary/gastronomy field or in the related food and beverage industries ( you must pick a different topic than the midterm Student Choice project) and develop a powerpoint or Prezi style presentation. For this assignment you must do an interview with an industry professional that is relevant to the presentation. The interview can be conducted face to face, by phone or by Skype but you must document the interview either via a transcript or short video in your presentation. Your presentation should include:

  • A minimum of 10 slides that are attractive and creatively constructed
  • Detailed information about your topic (but avoid overly wordy slides)
  • Must include an interview with an industry professional
  • Colorful images that enhance the quality of your presentation
  • Avoid video content unless you create it (or keep it short and to a minimum)
  • A works cited slide
  • Upload the presentation into into the upload too
