Content slides will be graded based on the following:

  • Quality of research
  • Accuracy of evidence
  • Strength of argument(s) and soundness of logic building toward prediction(s)
    • Future-focused
  • Persuasiveness toward target audience
    • Business professionals in Central Florida
  • Slide aesthetic (i.e. visually engaging)
    • Minimum of two data visualizations (e.g. chart, graph, etc.)
  • Professionalism and following directions
  • Title slide
    • Don’t forget your name
  • Data visualizations
    • Minimum of two data visualizations
    • Make sure the time frame is reasonably up-to-date
    • Where possible, show the predicted trajectory of trends into the future
  • Appropriate credit for your sources
    • You may either include full citations on the relevant slide (typically as a footnote) or create a “sources” slide with all of this information. If you choose the second option, be sure to include some kind of notation on the content slides that lets the reader connect information to the sources on your references slide.
