LOCATION: Meet the Seabiscuit Team: Scene 7. Fast forward to where Charles Howard meets Marcela on the balcony, and watch until the end of the scene. (17 minutes)

  • What are the Key Success Factors in Thoroughbred Horse Racing (or what do you need to be successful in this endeavor)? Why?
  • What was the context/culture in which the story took place (i.e. where, when)? Why is this important? Give examples to support your answer.
  • Who was on the Seabiscuit Team? Describe the background and capabilities of each team member and explain what each member brought to the team.
  • What did each member personally need from the team?

SCENE 2
LOCATION: Facing a Crisis – Scene 17 (5 minute)
