Program/Budget Creation

General formatting requirements: All assignments should be done in 12-point font, double spaced. If referencing material outside of the course, use an accepted referencing format (e.g., APA or MLA style). All material from outside the course must be appropriately referenced or it will be considered plagiarism.

Assignment 7 (Weeks 14-15):

As project leader at a local CBO, you have been asked to deliver a physical exercise program for 100 clients in the next year. The pre-program implementation deliverable to the CBO president is a detailed budget and justification. Prepare the following:

  • A list of inputs necessary to deliver the program, categorized appropriately as personnel, materials, equipment, travel, miscellaneous, and overheads.
  • The unit price of each input.
  • The total cost of delivering the program for one year
  • A quarter-by-quarter implementation budget related to a proposed implementation timeline linked to resource management.
  • A detailed budget justification.

(Complete the budget in an excel spreadsheet (or in tables in MS Word) and the budget justification in a Word document. The justification should be no more than two pages in length.)
