PROTECTED CLASS PRESENTATION AND PAPER

You have been provided with a discrimination case attached to this email. Please review the case and be prepared for your oral presentation during the final class. As part of the assignment, you will need to prepare a short paper (no less than 5 pages-not including the cover and reference sheet) regarding the case that should mirror your presentation. Your paper must include the following:

1. A discussion of the facts of the case, including the claims and any defenses raised by the Employer.
2. The outcome (the ruling of the Court / whether or not there was a violation of the law).
3. Most importantly, how specifically, as an HR professional you would advise the Company to handle this situation in the future to avoid similar problems. Please provide specific recommendations.
